Aeronaut Brewing Company
Illustration & Packaging | Merchandise
Can Label Design: CanJam 2023
The Brief: A label for the second anniversary Aeronaut Cannery beer release that included a sense of place inspired by the actual brewery floor and playful, music-themed designs as an ode to the battle of the bands that would take place during the anniversary celebration. The design was to feature bright, lively colors and a fun theme that could be used for merchandise. Illustration was created in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop, coloring and formatting was done in Photoshop. Additional assets (event signage, merchandise design) was done in Adobe Illustrator.

Can Label Design: We’re With Dorothy Pride Beer
The Brief: The design concept of “We’re With Dorothy” was a collaborative effort with Aeronaut’s queer staff. The team voted on the name and design elements that were then illustrated by me. The design was a tribute to the historic code phrase “Friends of Dorothy,” while also including callbacks to the movie, the city of Boston, and classic queer imagery/symbology seen in Dorothy’s basket. Illustration was created in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop, color was added in Photoshop, and final formatting was done in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Packaging Design: Sour Planet Twin Pack
The Brief: Using existing can art assets, create a 4-pack box design for the release of the “Sour Planet Twin Pack.” The mix pack title header was illustrated in Procreate, all additional formatting and layout was done with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Packaging Design: Beer Randomizer Advent Calendar
The Brief: To celebrate the holiday season, illustrate a 12-beer advent calendar that includes robotic motifs, holiday themes, and Aeronaut’s logo placed throughout. All components aside from font elements were hand-drawn in Procreate and formatting finalized in Adobe Illustrator.

Boston College VPR
Newsletter Creation
While supporting the Boston College Office of the Vice Provost for Research, I was responsible for creation of the VPR newsletter highlighting the successes and updates for the department. The newsletter was circulated across BC departments. The process of creation included gathering leads for relevant stories, conducting staff interviews, writing segments, copywriting submitted stories, sourcing images, and formatting the newsletter itself. This work was performed independently with minimal oversight from supervisory staff members.
Southern Pines Diner Car
Branding & Logo | Custom Signage Installation
I collaborated with Matthew Bullock, owner of Southern Pines Supper Club and Southern Pines Diner Car (Somerville, MA) to develop a unique branded identity for the Southern Pines Diner Car located in Bow Market. Matthew wanted the aesthetic to be reminiscent of 1950’s era drive-in diners you might have seen off a large interstate at the time. I chose a bright, limited color palette and focused on vintage-inspired fonts and simple shapes. I also designed a kawaii style grim reaper yielding a jalapeño-bladed scythe to serve as the Diner Car mascot & adorn merchandise items. After finalizing the logo design, I created handpainted signage for the storefront and on an A-frame for advertising purposes.

Bambolina Stitch
Branding & Logo
This logo was created for independent fiber artist, Jaimee Boag, based out of Somerville, MA. Jaimee wanted this design in a modern-gothic aesthetic that clearly provided context for her hand-crocheted products. This design was used as their Instagram icon and for branded stickers to be handed out during vending opportunites.
